Gwinnett Clinic physicians and nurse practitioners have been on the front lines of testing and treating COVID-19 patients since the early days of the pandemic. We continue to serve the community in its fight against COVID-19.

We offer onsite COVID-19 testing with Rapid PCR*, PCR, and Rapid Antigen testing.  Same Day Appointment and Walk-In Visits for COVID-19 testing are available at our primary care clinics.  We always recommend calling ahead to ensure you will be able to be seen as a walk-in.

Our primary care physicians and providers can prescribe treatment for eligible patients who test positive for COVID-19.

We also offer Telemedicine / Virtual Visits (Phone / Video) for patients!

Rapid, PCR, and Exposure / Spike Antibody Testing
  • Acceptable for sick, exposure, air travel requirements, event planning, or other screening requirements! All results are interpreted by a doctor or nurse practitioner.
  • If you have COVID-19 symptoms or confirmed exposure to COVID-19, Gwinnett Clinic offers convenient options for you for evaluation and testing, as recommended by our clinicians.
  • For acute infection, the below COVID-19 testing is available at many of our locations.

  • Do you think you had COVID-19 in the past and want to be tested for prior infection (more than 2 weeks prior to your visit)?
    • For evidence of prior COVID-19 infection, COVID antibody testing is available by appointment at all of our locations.
  • Did you finish your COVID-19 vaccine and want to know if you have developed COVID-19 vaccine antibodies?
    • For evidence of antibodies to the COVID-19 vaccine, COVID-19 vaccine spike antibodies testing is available by appointment at all of our locations.

Please confirm coverage for COVID-19 testing with your insurance company. Patients are responsible for any fees not covered by their insurance carrier. Since January 1, 2022, insurance plans do not always cover the visit associated with a COVID-19 test. As we are a physician practice, a doctor or NP reviews every test result and speaks to every patient tested. If your insurance does cover the visit, Patient Financial Services will be happy to refund any upfront payment that was collected. Self-pay is available for consultation + test fees.

Operating Procedure
  • We remain open for well visits, chronic disease management, respiratory care, and sick visits.
  • For COVID-19 positive patients, we will take care of you virtually, in the parking lot, or at one of our respiratory / COVID-19 clinics.
  • Coronavirus (COVID-19) Rapid and PCR testing is conducted at mutiple locations.
  • New and established patients are welcome.
Keeping You Safe
  • No patients with a COVID-19 positive test or confirmed exposure to COVID-19 are permitted in the office.
  • No staff or doctor with a COVID-19 positive test is permitted in the office.
  • Large waiting rooms to accommodate social distancing
  • Extensive staff communication on the risks of transmission and sterile environment
  • Virtual visits (phone / video) or parking lot visits for COVID-19 positive or at-risk patients
