Dr. Thomas has lived in Georgia for most of her life. She completed her undergraduate degree in Biology at Samford University and held a leadership role in Tri-Beta Biology Honor Society. She graduated summa cum laude and went on to complete medical school at the Medical College of Georgia, where she met and married her husband, who is an emergency medicine physician. After completing her residency in North Carolina, she returned to private practice in Georgia. As medical students, residents and practicing physicians, she and her husband have participated in and led numerous medical trips abroad. They have done medical work in over seven different countries including Bangladesh, Cambodia, Egypt, Guinea, Peru, Mexico, and Bulgaria. She recently moved to Atlanta after living in Saudi Arabia for two years with her husband and four children.

My Practice
I became a doctor: to walk alongside and encourage my patients to be their best self and to provide quality medical care to all people groups and demographics.
I enjoy taking care of patients at Gwinnett Clinic because: I am able to see a variety of patients and needs.
I am currently learning more about: the rise in mental health disorders in children, adolescents and young adults as well as comprehensive strategies for management. Also, the art of sourdough baking.
In my community, I enjoy: exploring new hiking trails and parks, building community in my neighborhood and church, discovering great coffee shops, finding educational and fun places to adventure with my family.
My hobbies are: exercising and spending time outside, baking and enjoying good food, dance parties with my children, traveling and participating in international medical trips.
