Dr. Deep Shah was born in Atlanta, GA and grew up in the metro area. He graduated valedictorian and student body co-president of Greater Atlanta Christian (GAC) in Norcross. Dr. Deep then attended the University of Georgia (UGA), where he graduated summa cum laude. At UGA, he won a Rhodes Scholarships to study at Oxford. Dr. Deep then went to Harvard Medical School. There, he was awarded a Soros Fellowship and received the Primary Care Student Achievement Award. He decided to return home and train at Emory University School of Medicine in internal medicine. Dr. Deep was named Outstanding Resident for all three years of his residency.

He is proud to take care of patients in his hometown and is an active member of the health policy community in Georgia with the American College of Physicians and Georgians for a Healthy Future.

Dr. Deep Shah is the Best!… I have been seeing Dr. Shah as my primary care physician since 2016 and I am impressed by his knowledge, professionalism and caring attitude. He is among the best of the best.

I love Dr. Deep Shah, he is very knowledgeable and understanding, he also takes the time to listen which is rare these days (sadly). I also love that he continues to keep up with the new medical trends and is willing to share his knowledge but also has no problem letting you know if something in not meant ‘for you’. I would refer anyone to go see Dr. Deep at the Snellville office, most of the staff has been there for more that 20yrs and they are very nice.
