Dinesh Raju, MD

Dr. Dinesh Raju graduated from Brookwood High School in Snellville, GA. Dr. Raju has focused his education on Neurology and the science of the brain since college. He graduated from Emory College with highest honors in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology. He was then accepted into the National Institute of Health’s highly competitive Medical Scientist Training Program and earned an MD and PhD in Neuroscience at Emory on full academic scholarship. After graduating with both of his doctoral degrees from Emory, Dr. Raju traveled to Boston to complete his residency in neurology at the prestigious Harvard Neurology program at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital, both affiliated with Harvard University. After residency, Dr. Raju completed a fellowship in Sleep Medicine at Duke University and a sub-specialty certification in Headache Medicine (UCNS).

Dr. Raju has expertise in general neurology, headaches/migraine, sleep disorders, epilepsy, neuromuscular disease, EEG interpretation, sleep studies, and EMG/NCS procedures. He brings his passion for Neurology and patient care to serve the patients of Gwinnett County and Gwinnett Clinic.

My Practice

I became a doctor: to help my patients live life to the fullest.

I enjoy taking care of patients at Gwinnett Clinic because: I can give them access to comprehensive care in a team-based environment.

I am currently learning more about: the relationship between sleep disorders and headaches and memory loss.

In my community, I enjoy: teaching medical students how to care for patients with sleep and neurological disorders.

My hobbies are: running obstacle course races.

My interests are: Sleep Apnea, Headaches, & CrossFit (Level 2 Instructor)
