Ms. Jamie grew up in Miami, FL. She received a Bachelor’s of Social Work from Appalachian State University before going on to graduate school at Washington University in St. Louis, where she completed master’s degrees in public health and social work. Ms. Jamie then worked for ten years managing global health research projects around the world. She was fortunate to live and work in such countries as Haiti, Sierra Leone, and Burkina Faso. Throughout her travels, Ms. Jamie became passionate about preventative healthcare, and returned to school to complete a Master of Science in Nursing at Emory University. She is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and is thrilled to work with the rest of the Gwinnett Clinic team to help improve the health and wellbeing of her community!
