Dr. Shveta Raju was born in Augusta, GA and grew up in Gwinnett County. She graduated valedictorian of her high school class at Greater Atlanta Christian School in Norcross, GA and went on to attend Emory College in Atlanta, GA. Dr. Raju was a National Merit Scholar and a part of the Emory Scholars program. She graduated from college with highest honors in anthropology and biology. She then attended Emory School of Medicine as a Woodruff Scholar. During medical school, Dr. Raju completed a MBA at Emory’s Goizueta Business School, where she was also selected as a Woodruff Scholar. She trained in internal medicine / primary care at Harvard’s Massachusetts General Hospital.
