Dr. Thomas was born in Bahrain and lived there for 16 years before moving to Long Island, NY. She also briefly lived and studied in Dublin, Ireland. While at Stony Brook University, she graduated with honors in Biology and enrolled in the MBA program. However, she decided that she wanted to fully pursue medicine and began her medical journey at St. George’s university. While in medical school, she was part of the Iota Epsilon Alpha Honor Society and similar organizations to promote health awareness within the local community in Grenada. She went on to complete her internal medicine residency training at NYP Brooklyn Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. Dr Thomas currently lives in Lawrenceville, GA with her husband and her pet pomsky.
