Dr. Rachel was born and raised in Atlanta, GA. She attended high school at Pace Academy. She then attended the University of Georgia as a Foundation Fellow. Upon graduation, she worked at Google in Human Resources. She had a great time working there and living in San Francisco, but ultimately decided her heart was in medicine! Dr. Rachel moved back to Georgia to attend medical school at Emory University. At Emory, she graduated summa cum laude and was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha. She stayed at Emory to complete her residency training in internal medicine / primary care. Dr. Rachel lives in Duluth, GA with her husband and sons.
